These knee pads are thick and heavy duty . The pictures don’t really show how well made they are. I’m impressed with the thickness.i plan on redoing my flooring and bought these to protect my knees . They will be great, and I can use them for other home jobs .

Overall these are great; easy to put on, comfortable but best of all they STAY IN PLACE! The location of the top strap helps these stay on your knees even when you up and down from the floor. My only gripe is with the straps, they work ok, but aren't quite sized right for a simple velcro connection. Looping the strap through a buckle then back on itself would work better for a wider range of leg sizes, but still they work quite well.

I don't leave many reviews but when something is very good I think you should.
I have been wearing knee pads for years and these are the best I have ever had. I have been wearing the Dewalt yellow "cap" style (much like these except for the extra material at the top for thighs) for the last few years and really love them even though they required a lot of adjusting daily. These are far better. The extra material on the top does wonders for holding them in place. No slipping at all. And being solid cap you can kneel on moist and wet surfaces.

I saw a review where the reviewer stated with shorts (I have not done that yet) there was some abrasion to the leg at the exposed velcro spot on the leg. He stated that he put duct tape in that area and it solved the problem. I will cross that bridge when weather breaks in Upstate NY and I begin wearing shorts here.
I can not speak for durability as I have only had them a week or so but they seem quite durable. I will update if there is a durability issue. The weak link will ultimately be the velcro straps in my experience, but these appear to be of good quality. I am 5'11 with a relatively slender build and they fit great, but if you have large legs they may be too small and I do not know how well the extra length of velcro they provide will work as I did not need that.
All in all, really great !!!

I have spent my life abusing my knees, to the point where if I kneel down for ten minutes without pads, one knee will swell and be painful for weeks. So I do like good knee pads.
These pads fit well on my medium guy-size knees, with plenty of extra strap if you have larger and more muscular legs. The top strap over the lower thigh is a huge help in keeping them from slipping down.
They do not totally eliminate the pain, but I can work on my knees for a couple of hours before it gets too painful, and then the pain stops when I get up. I've been replacing carpet with vinyl planks this week, and these knee pads make the entire project possible.

Great product. After ordering and using one set, I ordered a second set for another location's use. Had knee surgery and after healing I found this product gives me the best support. They stay up and don't slip down my legs. The only drawback, and it's minor, for individuals with thin legs I wish the velcro straps provided more attachment. The product provides extension straps for individuals with very thick legs, but manufacturer needs to consider individuals with thinner legs. Still, this product works very well for me.
